Story: While boating, a quartet of teens, Reg , Skip, Julie, and Pam, accidentally discover an island run by a mad scientist named Doctor Myra who intends to turn everyone in the Untied States into a Zombie. The teenagers become trapped on the island and are temporarily imprisoned in cages. They are freed when other teenagers arrive with the sheriff (who turns out to be in league with Doctor Myra). A complicated fight scene serves as the climax, in which a de-zombified gorilla arrives just in time to attack Dr. Myra's henchmen and allow the teens to escape. When they are safely back on the mainland, it is implied that the teens will receive a reward for discovering the island, and will have an audience with the President of the United States.

Tag Line: A fiendish experiment performed with sadistic horror!

Where did I find it: www.100ymm.com part of the Friday night double feature.

So how do you make a movie dubbed one of the worst movies's ever made? Well, you add in a Horror host and chat room and fans of monster movies aka www.100ymm.com that's how. Horror host Son of Ghoul gave us his fart's burps and odd sound effects to this creepy drive-in classic.

Did it work well not really? I have heard a lot of good things about this guy so I could not wait. Ghoul is no Svengoolie that is for sure. I guess I'm spoiled Sven gives you great little tidbits about the movie where Ghoul likes to add bad sound effects. Now I did find myself laughing at some of his sound track's here and there but not enough for me to want to tune.

The movie is not too bad. You have to wonder if back in the 50's all you did was walk around there sure is a lot of walking. Kids are good the idea is fun and the zombies well if I see one I will let you know. I know that this is more of the "White Zombie" type zombie's not the brain-guzzling walking dead that we know today. But that's OK in this movie it does its job being a drive in makeup movie with fun 50's music. Wait you say you heard this music before well you have in much of total score, was taken (uncredited) from Kronos (1957) by Bert Shefter and 'Paul Sawtell'.

The movie was criticized for its use of stock footage from feature films by Jerry Warren, who later used it in his most famous film, 1981's Frankenstein Island.

Now I can't tell you how the movie really went as I was too busy chatting on the message board with other horror film fans. The website 100 years of Monster Movies has been hosting double features for your enjoyment on Friday nights for a few months now. This is a great way to celebrate movies. They do plan on having another horror host's this year like Ms. Monster in June. They also plan to show new indie flicks as well as a few bigger titles.

OK so Teenage Zombie 4 brains for the 50's cute girls 3 brains for the music and the movie

2 1/2 Bloody Brains out of 5
